First Friends
We believe in the "Priesthood of all believers" (1 Peter 2:5-9). What this means is every believer, every Christian, is called to minister to those in need. It is a great privilege for us to serve others in the holy moments of their life.
First Friends is a ministry team that utilizes the pastoral gifts of our members to provide a caring and supportive presence to those who are struggling. They offer a listening ear to those who want to talk and an intentional presence of God's love to those who just need someone to care. They also serve as sacramental ministers in bringing communion to those unable to attend worship services.
In short, they bring church to the people by being the presence of God's love to those who need it.
