Dear members of First Lutheran Church,
We have exciting news to share! After years of prayer, church visits, meetings, and architectural plans we have a rendering of a church building that we believe will meet the current and future needs of our congregation. We put together a brochure that reminds us of our congregation’s building history. This handout also demonstrates the five areas of FLC’s ministry the new building was planned around. Brochures are available in the FLC tables, or you can download the pdf from our website. If you would like a hardcopy mailed to you, please call the church office. We want to invite you to take a look at the large picture boards in the Centennial Room just off Luther Hall for a better look too. We are excited to present this to you and hear what you think! Please keep in mind that the pictures are just concepts from the architect. The final design comes in our next phase. But before we enter the next stage of our planning and designing a new building, we want to make sure our congregation members agree with the plan. We are hosting a series of Listening Sessions to meet with members. At these meetings we will “walk through” the new building, explain the process, answer questions, and hear your feedback. After hearing your thoughts, we will make needed changes to the Master Plan. It is our goal to present the final version of the Master Plan at the Congregational Annual Meeting for your vote to move forward. Please plan to join us for one of our Listening Sessions:
We are church together. These meetings will only be valuable if you attend and offer your thoughts! We Go Together, Loving Others First! Facilities and Future Committee New Building Work Groups

When the work groups have completed their task, F&F will hold a congregational information meeting to discuss their findings. Contact Rod Nordby with questions or to join a work group. Thank you to the 131 members that came to cast their vote today on the following question:
Based on the recommendation of our hired consultants and their recent Facilities Study, should First Lutheran Church proceed with the Facilities Committee and Church Council’s unanimous recommendation to pursue funding for and the planning of a new Church Facility. The results are as follows: 107 Yes 24 No The motion has passed and the Facilities and Future committee will proceed with the next steps. We sincerely want to thank everyone who took time to attend a presentation, reached out to a committee member to ask questions, and attended to vote today. Your support is greatly appreciated. ~God Bless Facilities and Future Committee Dear Members of First Lutheran,
The Facilities and Future committee has now completed a building study after a significant delay from the Covid-19 pandemic. It unfortunately has been months since we last provided communication, so below is a short review to remind us all of what has been completed and what the future holds.
